Lucas Kooyman joined Brand Urban in 2026 as a Vice President, bringing 15 years of commercial real estate experience representing both national and local retailers, as well as independent, multi-generational, and institutional landlords. He specializes in retail leasing across the Tri-State area and on a national level, and is known for his strategic, detail-oriented approach to delivering successful outcomes for clients. Prior to joining Brand Urban, Lucas was a Vice President at Alvarez & Marsal Property Solutions and previously served as a Director at Newmark.

Throughout his career, he has represented notable tenants including Santander, Citibank, Paloma Wool, Barberino’s, Crunch Fitness, The Shade Store, Cipriani, Nusr-Et, SPiN, Westside Market, Dr. Smood, and Nightingale Veterinary Group, as well as landlords including Jamestown, North American Properties, Hyatt, Friedland Properties, Cohen Brothers Realty, Alexico Group, Weinreb Management, Charles H. Greenthal & Co., and Roxann Management.

Lucas is a licensed real estate salesperson in New York and earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Philosophy from Tufts University.
